Pentecost is Sunday, May 24th.  Please help Beautify First Church by donating for the purchase of 10” Red Geraniums! We’ll decorate the altar in RED for Pentecost,
then plant them in our beautiful church gardens for the summer!  Purchase your plants in the welcome center or click the link below to purchase online.

Join us 06/22 thru 06/25 from 9 AM to Noon for our Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School filled with tree-mendous adventures! Kids will explore the Nature of God with exciting games, music, crafts, and wild discoveries deep in our jungle setting. Each day brings new friends, unforgettable fun, and meaningful lessons that grow faith strong and tall.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring our Rainforest Falls Summer VBS to life with tree-mendous energy and joy! Join us as we guide kids through fun games, crafts, music, and meaningful lessons about faith in a vibrant jungle setting. Your time and heart can make a lasting impact—come be part of this wild and wonderful adventure! 

Step in with a willing heart—together, we can shine brighter and serve with love. Volunteering in the church is a joyful way to share your gifts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Your involvement helps the church thrive and can extend our mission beyond our walls. Hi everyone! our next book is Twice by Mitch Albom. We'll meet on May 16th at 10:00 AM in the library at church. Happy reading!

The next 6-week session for Chair Yoga beginning Monday, April 13th at 1:30 PM is full.  
Placement on waiting list for Church members will be accepted.

There are a few openings for the Wednesday 6 PM Class, beginning April 15th.  

The cost of each 6-week session will be $30 to be paid at first class.  This will be due even if a class is missed.   Silver Sneakers and Renew Active are accepted .   Please notify Chris Thomas if there are any questions or concerns.    

Yoga will not restart until Fall. On-line classes will be available through the summer months

Do you have a bicycle (adult - or child-size) that could use a second life?

Please contact Pierre David and he will pick it up, repair it so that it is “like new” (if necessary), and then take to the Redeemer Crisis Center on W. 30th Street in Cleveland.

The Pierstorf College fund is a one-of-a-kind Lutheran financial aid program that provides interest-free loans to all Lutherans pursuing a higher education who live in the State of Ohio.  

Application deadline is June 30th.
