Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God
Colossians 3:16
The Education Committee encompasses all facets of the educational needs of our congregation from preschool through adult. We offer many different classes ranging from those designed to teach biblical basics (for all ages) to those that challenge us and make us think (for adults)! The Education team also oversees Cradle Roll, 2nd grade Bible presentation, 5th grade First Communion, 6th grade Bible Bonanza, 7th and 8th grade Confirmation.
.
Our Sunday School program happens between services on Sunday morning. Our preK-6 classes begin with an opening video and have a lesson each week. High School students in grades 9-12 meet in our Youth room during the Sunday School hour to participate in interactive hands-on bible study focusing on current events.
Throughout the Sunday School year, we complete several service projects that combine students from all grade so they have a chance for fellowship, service and fun. Past service projects have included: Samaritan's Purse Christmas Boxes, Compassion International, and food drives for the local food bank.
Adult Education
Many adults enjoy our wide array of bible study opportunities that focus on daily faith topics.
Vacation Bible School
We invite the children of our congregation and children in the surrounding communities to join us for our summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) program. VBS is a fun, multi-day program focused on telling the stories of the Bible in a fun environment.
